Learning & Development Focus
Kindergarten readiness is our primary goal in the Pre-K room. We focus on academic skills like letter recognition, writing names, and understanding basic math concepts. Equally important is social-emotional readiness—we teach children how to follow multi-step instructions, resolve conflicts independently, and advocate for their needs in a classroom setting.
Partnering With Families
We work hand-in-hand with parents to ensure a smooth transition to Kindergarten. Through Brightwheel, we provide detailed assessments of your child's readiness skills and offer guidance on how to support their learning journey at home.
A Safe, Supportive Environment
Our Pre-K classroom is designed to build independence while providing the safety and structure children need to thrive. Through organized routines and encouraging interactions, teachers create a positive atmosphere that prepares students for kindergarten. Children are empowered to take risks in their learning within a supportive, caring community.
