A Little History
Providing a “home away from home where every child is cherished,” Helen Fox has made a positive difference in the lives of children for more than 39 years. Helen has dedicated her career to providing quality care for children and improving the image and reputation of the child care industry.
Helen’s efforts have been recognized and lauded by hundreds of parents, teachers and children as well as the local media. “Parents leave their children every day at The Honey Tree knowing that the love and care they receive from us is second only to home. That’s the greatest gift you can give a parent or a child.”
The Honey Tree opened in August, 1983. Since opening the Center, Helen has always surpassed state standards and held her Center to standards she considers much higher: those of a parent. Helen credits most of her center’s success to her 20 staff members, many of whom have been with the center for more than 25 years. “I look for warm, caring, loving individuals to work with the children. They are so in tune with the children’s personalities and needs. We don’t just watch the children all day — we know them!”
Helen Fox has a sincere concern for children and for the quality of child care children receive. She has a true drive and commitment to seeing it succeed and she has done just that.
