Keira and Keegan have been at The Honey Tree since they were 22 months old. Since today is their last day of elementary school, it means it’s also their last day here under the care of Ms. Helen and her amazing staff, many of whom have been here since we enrolled our kids 9 years ago. 4 kids downand 1 to go. We will still have Grayson there for the next few years, so they aren’t getting rid of our family quite yet. “A home away from home where every child is cherished.”

To whom it may concern,
When I had my son a year ago, his father and I looked for months and months to find the best day care for him. My son is our first child, and being a first time mom I was nervous to let go and return to work after my maternity leave. However, after looking so long, I found The Honey Tree day care. They have been in operation for over 30 years with experienced staff. They take great care of our son, and have been since he began attending The Honey Tree at seven weeks old. Our son is happy when he is at The Honey Tree, which also shows me he is in good hands.
The staff at the Honey Tree is and always has been, welcoming, positive, helpful, caring and professional. Even two of my co-workers use The Honey Tree day care drop-off/drop-in days, and one of them whom had her son in The Honey Tree day care for about his first five years of life…and she told me she thinks The Honey Tree is a great day care. She further assured me my son is in good hands. I’ve also considered enrolling my son into another day care just to be closer to work and home, but I really cannot imagine my son going anywhere else. I’m choosing to drive one hour each way with traffic every day (30-45 minutes without traffic) just so our son can stay at The Honey Tree, because they take such great care of him, and the fact that he likes it there makes me happy.

To whom it may concern,
My daughter Lillia is in the Baby room at The Honey Tree. We found this day care through a friend who had both her children attend from infants through Pre-K and the two year old room for her second child. We were nervous about sending our third baby to day care so young (two months old) because we didn’t have to do so with our older two. My friend had nothing but great things to say about Ms. Helen and the staff at The Honey Tree. Over the last 2 ½ months we have found this to be true for ourselves. The Honey Tree is a wonderful place full of caring, loving and nurturing women who have taken excellent care of our baby. Lillia has reflux and thus is not able to lay down flat after a feeding. The Honey Tree staff have taken this into account and after feeding and burping her she goes into a bouncer seat. The staff in the Baby room have done everything we asked of them to care for Lillia and have put my mind at ease completely. The day of the State visit, Lillia was in her bouncer seat awake with a burp rag across her legs. She was awake and being supervised and we do the same at home. We are not concerned about that being a hazard to her safety because it is not. The Honey Tree staff and Ms. Helen are doing a great job and Lillia is being well taken care of.
When I transitioned my two children (2 and 8 mos.) to a full time daycare, I had many requirements; I desperately wanted my children to be in a “home away from home” environment. After our first few days, I was astounded by how nurturing the ladies were at The Honey Tree; they truly loved my little ones! I am equally pleased with their reliable and consistent care. I regularly find them on the floor, at eye level with my children, playing and fostering new skills. As a whole, we have gained a second family. The employees at The Honey Tree cherish and care for my children as I do. I can’t help but think this is a result of amazing leadership. Thank you to The Honey Tree for your love and fantastic care! We will see you tomorrow!
I can’t even begin to tell you how thankful my husband and I are to have the Honey Tree watch our children. It is so comforting to know that our children are getting such amazing care while we are away working. Delicious food, friendly faces, organized office and classrooms are just some of the things one observes as they walk through the school. The structure and care shown in each classroom is exceptional and all of the employees are very kind and helpful. Our daughters look forward to going and that says a lot to us as parents. We will keep our kids at the Honey Tree as long as possible. We can’t brag about it enough. Eight (8) thumbs up from the Crain family!

We have entrusted the staff at The Honey Tree with all five of our children for more than five years. Ms. Helen and her team of dedicated workers are an extension of our family and genuinely care for all of the children in their charge. Whether it be teaching the preschool curriculum or helping our older children with homework after school, there is an obvious investment in each child’s growth and success. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our children to spend their time while we are at work.

As a first time mother the thought of dropping my child off at daycare, after only seven weeks, made me very nervous. Lucky for me I found The Honey Tree.
My husband and I stopped in one day to look the place over and encountered Edie, who was friendly and hospitable. She explained the schedule, pricing and gave us a tour of the facility. She explained that multiple employees had worked there for many years and also told us about Helen who has owned and operated The Honeytree for over 30 years. I was warming to the place but still had questions. I looked online and found positive reviews. I asked neighbors and coworkers if they knew anything about the place. Several people had either taken their children there or knew someone who did. All comments were positive. I then called around to other day cares to compare prices. And again I was pleasantly surprised-very competitively priced. We decided to give them a shot….
I dropped my baby off the first day and was greeted by Minnie – what a nice lady. She has been working there for 25 years. Her daughter works there, too. They are both friendly and professional. Each of the ladies that tend to my son on a daily basis are the same way. They communicate with me about how and what he is doing every day and keep it neatly documented on a paper for me to take home. In the event of a concern, Helen calls me directly to address the issue. The daycare is in an old building but is clean and inviting.
Bottom line – I feel comfortable each day when I drop him off. I don’t worry about him during my work day because I know he is in responsible and capable hands. Thank you to Anita, Donisha, Mylie and Prithwee. I appreciate you all.

“A home away from home where every child is cherished” is exactly what The Honey Tree is. As a first time mom, I searched for months looking for the best place to take my newborn. It was critical that the center was safe, reliable, friendly and caring. As a teacher, it was important that there was a sound curriculum in place. The Honey Tree not only had all of these qualities, they by far surpassed my highest expectations. Both of my children have been blessed to have the opportunity to attend. The center is warm and welcoming and the staff is the absolute best you will find anywhere! I am asked often for suggestions about childcare. I always say, “I don’t know where you have looked, but I know where you need to take your children.”

My son is a year old and has been in attendance for 5 months now. With having a bad experience with his previous daycare, I was extremely worried and protective about who’s care to leave him in. Within a month or two that all went away because I saw and felt how much they cared! Not to mention my son has learned so much since being there!!!! I’m so very pleased with my decision.
